Introduction
Welcome to the website of Cymdeithas Gychod Afon Nyfer ac Harbwr Trefdraeth (Newport’s Mooring Association)
Our moorings are located on the River Nevern estuary, one of the most picturesque areas in North Pembrokeshire. Moorings are on the banks of the river to the east before the Iron Bridge then westwards to the Parrog area of the estuary.
As a non-profit organisation, all surplus funds from the Association are reinvested into improvements for the moorings. Money is also used to provide enhancements. For example, a few years ago, money was used to build a tidal landing stage attached to one of the sea walls. This landing stage has provided much easier access for boat owners during the fluctuating tidal conditions
